Stream Assessment Volunteer Training

This training will give you the minimal skills to assess the health of your streams. Join us for a morning of training and become part of a statewide riffle bioassessment volunteer stream monitoring program.
Stream assessments use aquatic benthic macroinvertebrates (water bugs) to verify stream health.
You will collecting, sorting and identifying macroinvertebrates.
Classroom training will be done at the Eightmile office on Dolbia Hill Road.
Field training will take place at Devil’s Hopyard.
