Honeyland Film and Honey Tasting – Lyme

The 2019 documentary film Honeyland was one of the first to compete at the Oscars for both best documentary and best international feature film. It tells the story of Hatidze Muratova, one of Macedonia’s last wild beekeepers, who uses traditional methods, passed down through generations, for harvesting wild honey. We will be screening Honeyland, and also hosting local beekeepers from Lyme, East Lyme, Old Lyme and East Haddam who will bring their local honey for a tasting experience.
