Stream Assessment Volunteer Training : East Haddam

If you are curious about the health of our streams, join us for a morning of training and become part of a statewide riffle bioassessment volunteer stream monitoring program.

– Stream assessments use aquatic benthic macroinvertebrates (water bugs) to verify stream health.
– You will be collecting, sorting and identifying macroinvertebrates.

Classroom training is at the Eightmile Office with field training at Devil’s Hopyard State Park.
