Water Quality Monitoring

Results from Volunteer Benthic Macroinvertebrate monitoring indicate very good to exceptional water quality for the Eightmile River Watershed. Reported results cover 2001 to 2008 efforts of the Connecticut River Watch Program, a combined effort of Three Rivers Community College, Connectict River Coast Conservation District, Eightmile River Wild & Scenic Cooridnating Committee and many volunteers.
